In 2018, brothers Xavi & Andreu took over their family's 32-hectares of vines, located 30km from the Mediterranean in Tarragona's Alt Camp region, Catalunya. The family farm has been organic since 2015, cultivating indigenous varieties on clay-limestone soils through the hills of Santes Creus, ranging from 240 to 420m above sea level. With most of their harvest sold to local winemakers, they vinify a tiny portion (10%) in their family basement using stainless steel, fibreglass, and a selection of barrels and glass demijohns. Employing gentle infusion maceration and light basket pressing, they craft textured whites and light, vibrant reds. These are brilliant, keen-eyed impressions of a beautiful region.
