2022 Rosie Red
2022 Rosie Red
Rosie Red comes from a single vineyard in Mavilly planted in the 1950's. They took over the vines the same year Christian & Morgane's daughter was born and so they named the parcel for her: Vigne de Rose. The soil is quite specific here, a mix of sandstone, clay and limestone. It's south-facing and surrounded by more forest, and lots of cows.

As always, the vines are worked by hand, they do not use tractors to avoid soil compaction, use plants in their treatments to help the vines' defences, and do not use any pumps or sulphur in the cellar.
