Winemaking: Andi follows the same process for each of his whites: grapes are hand harvested, and are pressed straight away, with volumes split between a 100-year-old basket press and a more modern pneumatic press. Juice is then transferred to old barrels for fermentation and ageing. The 2019 Chardonnay had 2 years in barrel before being bottled unfiltered and unfined, zero sulphur.

Soil: Shell Limestone and Keuper, from the same vineyard, the terroir changes as you move just 3 metres down the hill.
