Winemaking: Skin maceration from 6 days to 14 degrees (scuffed, trampled). Fermentation in half muids (barrels of 600l) and amphorae in terracotta. The rearing is extended in the same containers without racking. Bottling is done without filtration after 10 months.

A 40-hectare estate, fully organic since 2013. The 8th generation to work at the estate; Vincent Alexis joined his father in 2010 and talked him into bottling their own wines instead of selling them for bulk blending. 25ha are white. Vincent has recently planted lots more traditional grape varieties, Sulphur is only used on bottling for the Bergecrac Blanc and the Monbazillac. Soils are clay on limestone with iron and flint in the Pecharmant vineyards.
