From Lori’s secret garden of buried Qvevri dedicated to experimental one-off cuvees, the opportunity to take a little Grenache Gris from our friend Anthony at Domaine Bartassou inspired this macerated number. Profoundly deep, long and herbal: briney macerated blood orange and rooibos tea.

Winemaking: A week's maceration of whole bunches, aged for a year underground in Georgian Qvevri, and a further year in stainless steel tank to settle. Bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no sulphur.

Lori Haon started farming 15 hectares in Valliguières in the Gard in 2015. He is a young winemaker who trained in Burgundy, Alsace and Champagne. Lori is committed to a respectful approach to his terroirs, without the use of chemical and synthetic products or weedkiller. His wines are vinified without the use of sulfites.
